ILLUSTRATE A NURSERY RHYMES FOR CHILDREN: THE PATA FAMILY BY GRACIELA DEL PINO
Graciela is a nice Ecuadorian lady: a novel would not be enough to tell the story of her life. Emigrated to Italy, she lived in Genoa for over 30 years, where she dedicated herself to children and young people as a teacher and speech therapist.
Intercultural cultural mediator and collaborator of the Marassi juvenile prison, she was a point of reference for the Latin American community residing in Genoa. In his youth he wrote small stories including a nursery rhyme for children: the Duck Family. Graciela was able to realize her dream of publishing and illustrating her nursery rhyme thanks to the collaboration between the publishing house Egnatia and ilmiofumetto.it
We have made available to Graciela, the crystalline talent of Caterina, a talented illustrator for children. Caterina made some magnificent illustrations that were the perfect background to Graciela's poem-nursery rhyme.
On 13 September we were invited to the presentation of the book in the beautiful setting of the De Albertis Castle and Graciela was simply fantastic: she praised the artistic skills of our Caterina and together they were queens and protagonists of an unforgettable evening.
