SWIMRUN CHEERS ... SWIM, RUN AND DRINK GOOD BEER !!
Chiara is a beautiful girl who works at the University of Pavia. He contacts us because he has a great passion and would like to pay homage to the person who passed it on to him, after having literally ... invented it! Chiara, in fact, is a passionate practitioner of a new sport called "SWIMRUN". What is it about? Basically you run, swim, run, swim ... and so on! For miles and miles, until the loss of strength and in some cases even the light of reason. Yes, because, as you will have understood, it is an extremely tiring sport, which requires great training and tenacity. But the difficulties don't end there! Often this kind of competitions take place in difficult environments (lakes, rivers, seas) and in conditions that are often prohibitive for most normal people (cold waters, waves, jellyfish, rain, wind, tsunami!). All this makes these athletes real super heroes! In order not to miss anything, you run in a wetsuit and swim with running shoes so you don't have to waste time between one fraction and another! But who could ever have thought of inventing such a gymnastic torture? Well there is a character, who is also the protagonist of this story, who is called Diego Novella and who is the father of this kind of races in Italy. Sportsman by vocation, avid swimmer, he has participated in the most important international events in half of Europe (we mention the Ö till Ö World Championship, among all) and has decided to import this discipline also in Italy. In 2017 he inaugurated the first edition on Lake Maggiore and was able to engage dozens of participants, making them passionate and entertained. So much so that other editions followed one another until 2019 and the number of subscribers has gradually increased. And then there was an important evolution, wanted by Diego: a beer lover, he always believed he could combine a beautiful “blonde” with sports. For this reason, the organization of these events has also included, from 2018 onwards, the tasting of local craft beers (BREWDOG is the official sponsor). Hence "SWIMRUN CHEERS" and the races end with a nice drink of beer, to celebrate the victors but also the beauty of being together and sharing a great passion. Chiara is one of these "madmen" who face the torture of SWIMRUN and therefore decided to contact ilmiofumetto.it to tell the story of Diego, whom she admires and follows like a prophet. A nice story that celebrated the life and the "loves" of this absolute champion. To meet Chiara's needs we have therefore created a “SPLASHPAGE COMIC”, a comic on a single board, divided into 12 scenes. Designed in a humorous style by our talented Marialuisa, we then printed it on a 30x40 rigid panel in portrait format and delivered to Chiara, directly at home!
