AN “ANGELIC” TALE FOR LAURA

Laura contacted us a few weeks ago because she wanted to turn a story she wrote into a comic. We asked her to send it to us to give her an opinion and we quickly realized that transposing that story into a comic would not be the right choice. What we suggested to Laura instead was to create a personalized illustrated fairy tale . In this way we could have kept his original story (very beautiful and definitely very fairytale) and at the same time create illustrations that highlighted some salient passages of the narrative. The story that Laura sent us is a modern fairy tale that features a girl and her angel.

A very personalized reinterpretation of the plot of Ghost, the famous film in which the great Patrick Swayze and the beautiful Demi Moore starred. The story is very autobiographical and one feels that it is written with compelling passion. For this reason we have entrusted the commission of the illustrations to Jessica, a new entry of the ilmiofumetto.it team, with a very “poetic” and “romantic” trait. Jessica created watercolor illustrations in grayscale which were then paginated together with the text, creating a fine picture book, 20x30, horizontal. To make the product even more TOP we used a paperback and hard cover.
